Kayla Braxton has been with the WWE for nearly a decade. She has worked as a backstage interviewer on SmackDown for nearly eight years. As she departs from the company, the 33-year-old had a heartfelt message to share with the WWE Universe.
Braxton posted a photo of herself on X, standing in front of the Madison Square Garden logo. In the caption, she said that she loved her WWE family. She was overwhelmed by the support she had received over the past few weeks. She said that she would miss everyone, but assured them that she would see them again.
This post came shortly after she announced that she was parting ways with WWE. Her contract recently came to an end, and she decided not to renew. The latest episode of SmackDown was slated to be her last show with the company, after which she will move on to newer ventures.
Kayla Braxton was a name used by her for her TV personality. She recently changed all her social media handles back to her real name, Kayla Becker. Before the latest episode of SmackDown, she put up an Instagram story alerting her followers of the change and left them a special message.
She thanked those who rode alongside her other persona of Kayla Braxton. However, it was time to lay her to rest in the greatest arena in the world, Madison Square Garden. The 33-year-old said that she could not think of a better spot to end her time with WWE. It was time for the next chapter in her life, and she was prepared to knock everyone’s socks off.
Kayla Braxton sends a special message to Paul Heyman following his beatdown at the hands of Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline
The most recent episode of SmackDown ended with The Bloodline Acknowledgement Ceremony. During the segment, Solo Sikoa asked Paul Heyman to acknowledge him as his Tribal Chief. The Hall of Famer said that he loved the 31-year-old, but he was not his tribal chief. This enraged the former North American Champion. He, along with the rest of the Bloodline, wrecked the Wiseman and put him through the announce table.
Shortly after the segment, Braxton made a post on her X account, wishing that she could save Paul Heyman. She had worked with the ECW legend on numerous occasions, and the two reportedly shared a great working relationship backstage. It must have been hard on the American broadcaster to see her friend laid out in such a way at her last show with the company.
